1. Who we are
CodersBrew develops and operates Xenon Rift. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit xenonrift.com, create a pilot account, play online, or contact us.
Questions or privacy requests: support@codersbrew.com.
2. Information we handle
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, sign-in provider, and account/session records. Email-and-password authentication is handled by Supabase. Google and Apple sign-in provide the identity information you authorize, such as an email address and provider identifier; Apple may provide a relay email.
- Pilot profile and gameplay: call sign, selected ship, and recorded online career statistics such as kills, deaths, matches played or won, and time played. Online servers associate these records with your account.
- Technical and security information: network addresses, connection times, build/version information, and diagnostic or server logs used to operate the service, investigate errors, and prevent abuse.
- Support information: emails, device details, screenshots, and other information you choose to send us. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes, access tokens, or private keys.
Offline practice does not require an account. The game may keep preferences and session information on your device; online career records are separate from offline play.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate pilots, keep profiles and career records, admit players to online battles, operate the persistent galaxy, provide support, troubleshoot problems, protect accounts, enforce our Terms of Service, and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you for requested account/game services, legitimate interests for security and service reliability, legal obligations where required, and consent where required. You can withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing.
5. Website storage and international processing
The website does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Hosting and font providers still receive normal web requests. Account confirmation and password-reset pages process the email, password, and temporary credentials needed for the action you request; they do not intentionally store those credentials in browser local storage. Authentication providers may use their own cookies and storage during sign-in.
Game session storage depends on platform. Supported platforms use operating-system credential storage; some platforms keep sessions only in memory and require sign-in again after closing the game.
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards under applicable data-protection law apply to international transfers.
6. Retention and account deletion
We retain account and career information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Security, diagnostic, and support records are kept as needed for their operational purpose or legal obligations; retention varies by record type.
You can delete your account from the game’s Pilot → Account → Delete Account flow. Deletion removes the account and associated profile and career records from the active account database. Signing out or uninstalling the game does not delete your account.
If you cannot access the game, email support@codersbrew.com to request deletion. We may need to verify account ownership. Limited information may remain in backups, security records, or records we must retain by law; it is not kept as an active pilot profile. Deleting an account does not remove messages or screenshots already shared with other people.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update your call sign and ship in the game, sign out, choose offline practice, or request account deletion. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Contact support@codersbrew.com to exercise applicable rights. We may verify your identity and will respond as required by applicable law. Do not include your password or session tokens.
8. Children and security
Xenon Rift is not intended for children under 13, or anyone below the applicable minimum age for the service in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No network or storage system is completely secure. Protect your sign-in credentials and report suspected account misuse to our support address.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the game and services change. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice where required by law.
